Shepherd with Vase in Maple Wood

This carved Shepherd with Vase from Val Gardena shows a contemplative figure holding a small vase. The face has a serene expression and finely worked beard; the cloak falls in natural folds to the feet and the hands are clasped around a terracotta‑like vessel.

Carved from precious maple wood, the traditional timber for small and medium works from South Tyrol, and made by Val Gardena master sculptors in a centuries‑old tradition. Available in three finishes: natural (enhances the wood grain), coloured (warm, golden tones) or three shades of brown (adds depth and realism).
